Our business
The company Novpool was born from the meeting between two young entrepreneurs, with very complementary backgrounds and skills, Edwin and Romain.
Edwin, Passionate about the sea, he has extensively practiced water sports: swimming, diving, freediving… After perfecting his foreign languages at a school in Cambridge, England, he graduated in business creation and management from IFAG (Paris). In 2017, during a trip to Mexico, Edwin discovered the Clean Water Tab, primarily used to treat the water in the large, overcrowded swimming pools of Cancun hotel complexes. The following year, sales began in France. In 2020, he founded the startup The Ocean Cleaner, which works to clean up macro-waste from oceans and rivers. One of their current missions is combating the sargassum seaweed invasions in the Caribbean. In early 2024, Edwin partnered with Romain to accelerate the development of the Clean Water Tab in the swimming pool, spa, and rainwater harvesting markets: this led to the creation of Novpool. Roman, From a very young age, he was driven by a passion for building and construction. He earned two degrees, one in HVAC engineering (1999) and the other in management (2001), from the École Supérieure des Jeunes Dirigeants du Bâtiment (Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse). Romain then joined the family business (based in Coulommiers) with his wife. This led to the successive creation of Piscines & Bains (a showroom dedicated to swimming pools), Piscines Services, Techni Pool Liner, and Piscine Spa Shop. Since 2014, Romain has presided over the family holding company, Omnium Bien-Être. In 2023, during a routine internet search, Romain discovered the Clean Water Tab tablet and immediately grasped the potential of this natural and healthy solution, capable of significantly reducing the use of chemicals in swimming pools, his line of work. Romain then contacted Edwin. March 2024 saw the project approved and the creation of Novpool to develop sales of the Clean Water Tab. A wonderful birthday present for the family holding company's 50th anniversary!
